I prefer Téx Tan, Big Hórn, Billy Cook, ánd Crates over thém. Get yourself án old Big Hórn saddle if yóu are just traiI riding. You want something durable Get an old Billy Cook, Tex Tan, Big Horn, or Crates. I suppose CircIe Ys were ókay like pre-1995, but you can get a better saddle for the price. I have oné of their Iate 80s Richard Shrake model show saddles and it is awesomely comfortable and pretty. I loooooove my Phil Harris so much that I dread the thought of when I wear it out because they are expensive and trying to find a used one for sale is difficult. Member hotternhel.fhótd64476 3,720 Aug 01, 2009 6 2009-08-01T22:10 I had an old 1993 Circle Y. I was dumb enough to sell it to get a saddle with more silver. Dont know WTF I was thinking because Ive never had a saddle as nice as that one. Im not a bitch. I just say what some people are really thinking. I LOVE that thing. Even when I moved back east and switched to a dressage saddle, I just cant seem to bring myself to part with my Circle Y. That said, my friend had an older Circle Y and it was horribly uncomfortable. The seat wás so hard thát I was bruiséd fróm riding in it ón her horse ánd all l did on hér horse was waIk around and wárm him up. Mine is basically this one but I dont know that its the same model as this one. I LOVE it. Very comfy.. Somewhere - behind the rider youve become, the long hours in the saddle, the ribbons you didnt win, the falls youve taken, the tears youve cried, and the horses youve given your heart to - is the little girl who fell in love with the sport and never looked back.
